New video has emerged showing the moment Twilight star Bronson Pelletier urinated in an airport. The footage shows the apparently heavily inebriated 25-year-old stumbling around Los Angeles airport, as a security guard tries to sit him down. Seemingly unaware of where he is the actor is then seen unzipping his jeans and urinating straight onto the floor as he continues to stumble. In the footage, posted on YouTube, Pelletier urinates for 40 seconds while the guard begs 'sir, sir'. Other passengers can be heard muttering 'Oh my God!' as they watch the incident unfold. Airport police then rush over and lie Pelletier on the floor as he continues to urinate, cuffing his hands behind his back. Following the incident Pelletier was charged with one count of being drunk in public.
The actor, who plays a member of the hit movie series' macho wolf pack, has denied the public urination part of this case. It is a less serious misdemeanour charge, which means he faces a maximum of six months in jail if he is convicted. Pelletier is due in court for his arraignment on January 7, which means he will be officially charged before the court. He is also due in court on January 17 to answer to meth and cocaine possession charges, stemming from an earlier arrest last month. The urination incident came after the Canadian star was thrown off his flight for causing a disturbance on board and being considered 'too intoxicated to fly'. Law enforcement sources told TMZ that after they got Bronson off the flight they told him to wait in the terminal for a later one to give him a chance to sober up. After leaving the scene they then received another call claiming Pelletier was 'urinating in public by the gate'. It came around two hours after he was thrown off his flight.
