DA EL TIRO DE GRACIA BILL CLINTON A LA REELECION DE OBAMA
ENSALZA BILL CLINTON EL "STERLING" RECORD EMPRESARIAL DE ROMNEY
Video: Romney's Qualifications, Business Experience Lauded by...Bill Clinton
By Guy Benson 6/1/2012
Just when you thought yesterday couldn't have gotten any worse for the Obama campaign, a certain former president appeared on CNN and asserted that Mitt Romney is qualified to be president, thanks to his leadership as governor and "sterling" career in the private sector:
This could deliver something of a coup de grace to the Obama campaign's all-Bain-all-the-time attack strategy. President Obama stated that this campaign will "be about" Romney's "vampire capitalism." Bill Clinton, Deval Patrick, and at least a dozen other Democrats have dissented from that view. Publicly. And we're still awaiting an explanation for why a handful of companies failing after Romney left Bain = greedy and evil, whereas Solyndra and other taxpayer-financed benefactors of cronyism shutting down = honest mistakes. Enlighten us, liberals. Oh, and by the way, Romney has jumped ahead in Ohio, Virginia, Florida and North Carolina.

ARTUR DAVIS : A once proud Democrat becomes a Republican.
'Democratic Label No Longer Matches What I Know About My Country'
Michael Warren
While I’ve gone to great lengths to keep this website a forum for ideas, and not a personal forum, I should say something about the various stories regarding my political future in Virginia, the state that has been my primary home since late December 2010. The short of it is this: I don’t know and am nowhere near deciding. If I were to run, it would be as a Republican. And I am in the process of changing my voter registration from Alabama to Virginia, a development which likely does represent a closing of one chapter and perhaps the opening of another….
On the specifics, I have regularly criticized an agenda that would punish businesses and job creators with more taxes just as they are trying to thrive again. I have taken issue with an administration that has lapsed into a bloc by bloc appeal to group grievances when the country is already too fractured: frankly, the symbolism of Barack Obama winning has not given us the substance of a united country. You have also seen me write that faith institutions should not be compelled to violate their teachings because faith is a freedom, too. You’ve read that in my view, the law can’t continue to favor one race over another in offering hard-earned slots in colleges: America has changed, and we are now diverse enough that we don’t need to accommodate a racial spoils system. And you know from these pages that I still think the way we have gone about mending the flaws in our healthcare system is the wrong way—it goes further than we need and costs more than we can bear.

PART 2
Taken together, these are hardly the enthusiasms of a Democrat circa 2012, and they wouldn’t be defensible in a Democratic primary. But they are the thoughts and values of ten years of learning, and seeing things I once thought were true fall into disarray. So, if I were to leave the sidelines, it would be as a member of the Republican Party that is fighting the drift in this country in a way that comes closest to my way of thinking: wearing a Democratic label no longer matches what I know about my country and its possibilities.
Davis’s political evolution may not be that surprising. He was the only member of the Congressional Black Caucus to vote against Obamacare. He ran for the Democratic nomination for Alabama governor in 2010 as a conservative. After losing the nomination, Davis announced he was becoming a political independent. His political commentary began popping up at places like National Review Online, criticizing Democrats for the same reasons he does today—the reliance on identity politics, the lack of respect for faith institutions, support for affirmative action, and a hostile relationship with business and entrepreneurs.
It seems it was only a matter of time before Davis made the change official. Still, the facts are that a rising star, a black Democrat from the Deep South, and an early supporter of Barack Obama found himself on the outside of the modern Democratic party, looking in, and disliking what he saw.
Davis's shift differs greatly from that of his fellow former Democratic congressman from Alabama, Parker Griffith, who switched parties to the GOP in 2009 when it looked more likely that Griffith could win his primary as a Republican than as a Democrat. Griffith was rewarded for what appeared as, and most likely was, a political calculation with a resounding defeat in the 2010 Republican primary. Should Davis decide to run for Congress in Virginia, Republican voters may greet his apparently thoughtful and principled decision with more cheer.
Meanwhile, in Pennsylvania, a state Democratic committeewoman named Jo Ann Nardelli has also switched to the GOP, citing her Catholic faith and President Obama’s recent announcement that he supports gay marriage. The Altoona Mirror reports:

Jo Ann has been a Catholic Democrat her entire life
One of Blair County's prominent Democrats, Jo Ann Nardelli, said Wednesday she has switched her voter registration to Republican because she can no longer support Democratic initiatives like same-SX marriage.
"As the Democratic Party has taken the stand for same-SX marriage, then I must make a stand on my faith that marriage is between a man and a woman. God's principles for life never change. His guidelines, given in Scripture, produce fruitful lives when you follow them," Nardelli said while making the announcement of her party switch in the Blair County Courthouse.
She said she was a member of the Democratic party for 40 years.

Jon Corzine Raised $500,000 for Obama
After fleecing $1.8 billion from clients, Corzine buys Obama's protection.

Corzine and missing funds
Later, Corzine admitted he could not account for the $1.2 billion.
At one point, Corzine was once considered a possible candidate for secretary of the Treasury Department. "President Obama once hailed [Corzine] as an 'honorable man' and one of his 'best partners' in the White House," ABC reported.
Corzine's fundraising puts the former Goldman Sachs CEO and disgraced banker in the highest category of bundlers in terms of dollars raised. But he most likely won't be a resident of Hoboken for much longer. "The scandal-hit former MF Global chief has put his penthouse condo along the Hudson on the block for $2.9 million," the New York Post reported today. "That’s a 12 percent drop compared to the $3.3 million he paid for his high-end Hoboken bachelor pad just three years earlier."

As Obama Crows, The Real Story Is 10.5 Million Jobs Deficit
IBD ^ | 02/04/2012
Obama Is 'President Zero - Zero Economic Expansion, Zero Jobs, Zero Ideas'
Of course it's good news that 243,000 new jobs were created in January, shaving the unemployment rate to 8.3%. But thanks to massive policy errors by the White House, we're still way below where we should be.
President Obama, speaking in Arlington, Va., immediately took credit for the bullish report, crowing that "altogether, we've added 3.7 million new jobs over the last 23 months."
According to data from the Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis, the economy is just 0.7% above its previous high. Usually at this point in an expansion, it's 13.5% above the last peak. In other words, thanks to Obama's policies, we're missing about $1.8 trillion in GDP — or roughly $5,760 for every man, woman and child.
Far worse for most Americans is the jobs depression that has accompanied Obamanomics. As the chart shows, we've suffered a jobs implosion greater than any since World War II.
The president went on to say: "We can't go back to the policies that led to the recession. And we can't let Washington stand in the way of our recovery."
"Our" recovery? And "We can't go back to the policies that led to the recession"? The cause of the recession was, in fact, housing policies put in place by President Clinton and aggressively supported by Democrats in Congress, including former Sen. Barack Obama.
How soon we forget. These were the policies that led to the housing meltdown, the financial crisis and, ultimately, the deep recession we're still climbing out of.
Yet Obama's "blame Bush" theme will be the Democrats' strategy for the 2012 campaign. So get used to it.
Truth is, by now we should have created millions more jobs than we have.

New Jobless Claims Continue Rising
By Political Calculations 6/1/2012
It has been several weeks since we last looked at the trend in the number of new jobless claims being filed in the U.S. each week. Our chart below shows how things stand through the initial report for 19 May 2012, which has about a 98% chance of being revised upward later today:
The good news is that the number of initial unemployment insurance benefit claim filings since 11 February 2012 is rising at an average rate of 1,005 per week, but really, that's only good news in contrast to the average increase of 2,497 per week it was clocking just over one month ago!
As we've noted before, gasoline prices appear to have the ability to shift the trajectory of the trend in the number of new jobless claims filed each week once they rise above an inflation-adjusted $3.50 per gallon. Above this level, it would seem, the combination of the increased costs of doing business and the reduction in revenues as consumers are forced to use their limited dollars to buy gasoline instead of other things they might rather have can affect the bottom line of businesses by enough to affect their employee retention decisions.
If we're lucky in the short term, we'll see if the rate of layoffs that prompt new unemployment insurance claim filings shifts to a new, more positive trajectory if gasoline prices fall back below the $3.50 per gallon mark in the weeks ahead.
But then, we'll be unlucky in the longer term because that will mean that the world demand for oil will have dropped enough to make that possible, as much of the world appears headed for recession. That of course will have consequences for the U.S. economy.
In the meantime though, we continue to expect the U.S. economy will rebound a bit in the third and fourth quarters of 2012, after passing through the equivalent of a microrecession during the current second quarter. The story for 2013 will be very different, we're afraid....

Romney and Obama: The gratitude divide
Ralph Alter
One of Mitt Romney's personal traits that goes unmentioned in the Obamedia is his humility. Much like Ronald Reagan, Mitt has that "aw, shucks" kind of modesty about himself and his accomplishments that is particularly appealing when contrasted with the windy, self-congratulatory cockiness of his Democrat opponent. Make no mistake, Mr. Romney has a lot to be proud of. His business acumen dwarfs that of the entire B.O. administration. He has a beautiful, successful family and an impeccable personal history. His missionary work and charity work and continued donations to his church and the needy are exemplary. Especially compared to someone like, oh, for instance, Joe Biden. When it comes to charitable contributions, Cement-head Joe treats nickels like they are manhole covers.
Despite a complete dearth of actual accomplishments in the real world, a history of nasty and under-handed campaigning and morally repugnant stances on abortion, health-care for seniors and the state of Israel, B.O. was comfortable with his media enablers referring to him as a Messiah. He actually suggested that the seas would cease to rise as a result of his being elected. Never mind that he can't get a single Congressional representative to vote for his lame budget proposals and hides his college transcripts and maybe even about his " two sons."
Perhaps he is waiting until October to reveal that he sprouted fully formed from the head of Zeus. Yeah, that's why there is no birth record. Mitt Romney, as wealthy and successful as he is, comes across to me as a good neighbor who is humbly grateful to have been born an American and to have had the opportunity to thrive and the freedom to build a great life here. Barack Obama, on the other hand, is grumbly hateful that America hasn't given him and his whiny minions that to which they have come to feel entitled. A great majority of Americans seem to be coming to this same conclusion. November can't get here soon enough.

Are you ready to wake up yet?

From the moment the Obama administration came into office, wiping out every job gained since the year 2000, there have been no net increases in full-time jobs, only in part-time jobs. This is contrary to all previous recessions. Employers are not recalling the workers they laid off.... With more than 100 million workers in labor age without full employment, we now have more idle men and women than at any time since the Great Depression. In D.C., teen unemployment is over 53% and in California, over 36%.

A 'AAA' Rating!
OBAMA'S HUGE DEBT PROVOQUED
DOWNGRADING U.S. CREDIT RATING
FOR FIRST TIME IN HISTORY

The 18 countries with a better credit rating than the United States.

"The Office of Management and Budget (OMB) shows that the Bush tax cuts in 2004-06 produced the highest two-year tax revenue increase in the preceding 40 years."
QUOTE OF THE CENTURY, MAYBE EVEN THE MILLENNIUM “The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama who is, after all, merely a fool. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."
My other personal concern is the evil entities behind the fool
