Obama’s Rules for Revolution: The Alinsky Model

Obama’s Rules for Revolution: The Alinsky Model

Posted By Frontpagemag.com On January 27, 2012  In Daily Mailer,FrontPage

Presidential candidate Newt Gingrich recently made news by referring to Barack Obama as a “Saul Alinsky radical” whose philosophy is destructive of traditional American values. Who was Saul Alinsky? What was his message? How has his radical vision, a key element of the 1960s leftist assault on America, influenced Obama?

You can find the answers by reading David Horowtiz’s Obama’s Rules for Revolution: The Alinsky Model posted below. Since its publication in 2010, more than 2 million copies of this best selling pamphlet have been distributed. Horowitz shows the entire iceberg whose tip was revealed in Newt Gingrich’s comment.

FrontPage has been covering the connection between Obama and Alinsky and other 60s radicals since the election of 2008. This leftist network, which heavily influences the current White House, is dissected in detail in our encyclopedia of the Left, discoverthenetworks.org.

Please help the Freedom Center educate our citizens in this critical time about Obama’s efforts to radically transform America—his intellectual inheritance from Saul Alinsky. Please support the Freedom Center and help us immediately get another printing of Obama’s Rules for Revolution: The Alinsky Model into circulation.

In a 2008 debate, Charlie Gibson asked Barack Obama about his support for raising capital gains taxes, given the historical record of government losing net revenue as a result. Obama persevered: "Well, Charlie, what I've said is that I would look at raising the capital gains tax for purposes of fairness."

A most revealing window into our president's political core: To impose a tax that actually impoverishes our communal bank account (the U.S. Treasury) is ridiculous. It is nothing but punitive. It benefits no one — not the rich, not the poor, not the government. For Obama, however, it brings fairness, which is priceless.

Communists map out Obama agenda Immediately following the November 2008 Obama's triumph, communist party leader, Sam West, affirmed that now they not only have a friend in the White House, but a president who will pursue the party’s agenda. WND reported the Communist Party USA mapped out policies crucial for Obama to push through in his first term, including a "single payer" socialist health-care system; laws to make joining a labor union easier; raising the minimum wage and increasing labor union support.    In May 2009, WND  reported the leader of the Communist Party USA declared that with Obama as president, health care and the economy can be "reformed," U.S. troops can be evacuated from the Middle East, a second stimulus bill can be passed, the criminal justice system can be overhauled and union rights can be expanded.  "All these – and many other things – are within our reach now!" exclaimed Webb in a New York banquet speech for the People's Weekly World, the official newspaper of the Communist Party USA.

CNN Turns Blind Eye To Obama-Alinsky Ties

IBD 01/26/2012

The Prediction Of Norman Mattoon Thomas

Is Coming True

Today, even the most socialist Dems will still deny that their policies and the

policies of Barack Obama are socialist.

Thomas was right.  We Americans will never “knowingly”

adopt socialism.

Are you ready to wake up yet?

Journalism: As the president launches his re-election bid by striking a more centrist tone, the partisan press is helping him whitewash his radical past. Teamwork or not, it’ll be hard to bleach.

Exhibit A is CNN’s Soledad O’Brien. Earlier this week, she hosted a segment that tried to de-link Obama from Chicago socialist Saul Alinsky. The late Alinsky is the father of community organizing and the author of the far-left bible “Rules for Radicals.”

O’Brien opened her piece by scolding GOP front-runner Newt Gingrich for warning Obama “will represent Saul Alinsky (and) European socialism” in a second term. “President Obama has never said that he was influenced by Alinsky,” O’Brien insisted.

Of course he hasn’t. He’s not stupid enough to publicly link himself to a socialist. But the record is clear that he was in fact influenced by Alinsky, if only CNN’s “journalists” would do their homework. Allow us to do it for them:

• Obama first learned Alinsky’s rules in the 1980s, when Alinskyite radicals with the Chicago-based Alinsky group Gamaliel Foundation recruited, hired, trained and paid him as a community organizer in South Side Chicago. (Gamaliel’s website expressly states it grew out of the Alinsky movement.)

• In 1988, Obama even wrote a chapter for the book “After Alinsky: Community Organizing in Illinois,” in which he lamented organizers’ “lack of power” in implementing change.

• Gamaliel board member John McKnight, a hard-core student of Alinsky, penned a letter for Obama to help him get into Harvard Law School.

• Obama took a break from his Harvard studies to travel to Los Angeles for eight days of intense training at Alinsky’s Industrial Areas Foundation, a station of the cross for acolytes.

• In turn, he trained other community organizers in Alinsky agitation tactics.

• Obama also taught Alinsky’s “Power Analysis” methods at the University of Chicago.

• During the presidential campaign, Obama hired one of his Gamaliel mentors, Mike Kruglik, to train young campaign workers in Alinsky tactics at “Camp Obama,” a school set up at Obama headquarters in Chicago. The tactics helped Obama capture the youth vote like no other president before him.

• Power would no longer be an issue, as Obama infiltrated the highest echelon of the political establishment — the White House — fulfilling Alinsky’s vision of a new “vanguard” of coat-and-tie radicals who “work inside the system” to change the system.

Re: Obama’s Rules for Revolution: The Alinsky Model

Saul Alinsky:
Lest we forget at least and over-the shoulder
acknowledegment to the very first radical: from all
our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to
know where mythology leaves off and history begins-
or which is which), the first radical knwon to man
who rebelled against the establishment and did it
so effectivelly that he at least won his own kingdom
Obama studied and has used the soul less tactics of Saul Alinsky to destroy political enemies. They are currently using the Alinsky tactic of ridicule to destroy Republican candidates as well as alienate and marginalize conservative black Americans.

• After the election, his other Gamaliel mentor, Jerry Kellman (who hired him and whose identity Obama disguised in his memoir), helped the Obama administration establish Organizing for America, which mobilizes young supporters to agitate for Obama’s legislative agenda using “Rules for Radicals.”

• Obama’s favorite rule is No. 13: “Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it and polarize it.” You see that in his attacks on “fat cat bankers,” “greedy health insurers” and “millionaires and billionaires.” He also readily applies Alinsky’s fifth rule of “ridiculing” the opposition.

“Obama learned his lesson well,” said David Alinsky, son of the late socialist. “I am proud to see that my father’s model for organizing is being applied successfully beyond local community organizing.”

Bizarrely, O’Brien was more than willing to connect Alinsky with the Tea Party, without citing a shred of real evidence to back up the silly claim. The CNN anchor closed her segment by saying she would pin Gingrich down on his supposedly misleading claims. “We will be sure to ask the former speaker the next time we get a chance to talk to him about that,” she said.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to just ask Obama? You know, “Mr. President, have you ever read Alinsky’s ‘Rules for Radicals’”? Or “Have your ever trained at organizations founded by Alinsky?”

Is she really this clueless? Or is she covering for Obama? Either way, it does not reflect well on a journalist of her stature and influence.

It’s plain CNN plans to gloss over the president’s radical past in this campaign, just like it did in 2008.

The Osawatomie Coincidence

Submitted by Trevor on December 8, 2011

Why would Barack Obama choose to give a controversial speech attacking American capitalism in Osawatomie, Kansas?

Hang on? Where have I heard that name before? Osawatomie? ….back in the ’70s? Weather Underground terrorists… Bill Ayers and Bernardine Dohrn.  Didn’t Obama used to hang out  with those guys?

I remember! Osawatomie was the publication of the Weather Underground!

No, surely its a coincidence….

Bill Ayers and his wife, Bernardine Dohrn, founders of the Weather Underground, a radical, murderous Marxist terrorist group of the Vietnam era. In the Ayer/Dorhn home Obama started his fundraising for state senator for Illinois, it was the beginning of a long and close relationship.

The Fresh Prince Of Bill Ayers BillLawrenceOnline.Com ^| 9-15-11

A bizarre, Maoist attempt to squelch dissent by President Barack Obama has earned him the  sobriquet  The Fresh Prince of Bill Ayers which is being tweeted around the world.    Ayers is the bizarre, Maoist 1960s radical and wealthy Chicagoan who was instrumental in Obama's rise to power.    Ayers once said 25 million Americans would have to be eliminated in order to bring about his utopian dream. Ayers is married to Bernardine Dohrn who famously expressed  approval of murder of Sharon Tate and others by the Manson family.    Obama is asking that reports of any criticism of himself or his administration be reported through the website .... It's clearly an attempt to intimidate but it appears to have backfired as Obama's opponents on all parts of the political spectrum have been reporting themselves with scathing comments.

Re: Obama’s Rules for Revolution: The Alinsky Model

Re: Obama’s Rules for Revolution: The Alinsky Model
