Obama Worst President on Immigration

Latino strategist Alfanso Aguilar has claimed that President Obama is the worst anti-immigration President ever. He is currently working on a plan to evade Latino support for Obama especially in the key battleground state of Nevada.

To achieve his goal before the presidential elections this fall then he needs to do a lot of work. A poll conducted by Wall Street Journal/NBC/Telemundo this week revealed that among the registered Latino voters nationally, Mr. Obama currently enjoys a lead over the presumptive Republican nominee, Mitt Romney by 61 per cent to 27 per cent.

In each of the past four elections, the percentage of the Latinos in the national electorate has increased, with an increase of 2 per cent in 1992 to nine per cent in 2008. Back to 1972; the Democrats have been able of winning more than 40 percent of the Latino vote just once and it was in 2004 when President George W Bush won 44 per cent Latino vote. After four years, Senator John McCain won just 31 per cent vote against Obama’s 67 per cent.

It is because of these statistics that Romney was heard saying in a fundraiser, if the Republicans do not pay enough attention to the Latino vote then they will have to pay for it. The Los Angeles Times has this week by using a common benchmark said that Romney needs 40 per cent of the Latino vote in the upcoming Presidential elections this fall.
